The City of CambridgeвЂ™s contractor, ICONIX Waterworks, has begun sending out letters to homeowners and businesses to book appointments to install smart water meters. Those that do not book an appointment within this timeframe will have their water disconnected until the water meter work is completed. Residents in Preston and West Galt that have received multiple contact attempts but have not complied with the Smart Water Meter Program will receive a door hanger and 48 hours to book an appointment to have their meter updated. ICONIX Waterworks has received approval to proceed with the water disconnection process.
